Marriott’s latest promotion, the first global promotion for 2022, is offering 1000 bonus points per night and 1 bonus elite night credit per night.
The offer is available for 85 nights, hence an opportunity to earn up to 85,000 bonus points and 85 bonus elite night credits.
You need to register for the promotion first.
Important Dates
Registrations are open from now till April 20th, 2022. Once registered, you will earn bonus points and nights for all your stays from February 8 through May 4, 2022.
Faster Elite Status
1000 bonus points per night could be great or blah, depending on the amount you are paying per night at the hotel. At budget locations, this might be great. Not so great at others.
However, bonus elite night credit is unique and useful at the same time. If you have a few trips planned till May 4th, 2022, you can reach the next elite tier for half the nights.
These are the normal elite status nights requirements for various levels.
Status | Nights required |
---|---|
Silver Elite | 10 nights |
Gold Elite | 25 nights |
Platinum Elite | 50 nights |
Titanium Elite | 75 nights |
Ambassador Elite | 100 nights + $20,000 USD in annual qualifying spend |
Platinum Elite for staying 25 nights (with offer) or Titanium for 38 is a good opportunity.
Good to know
- Only paid nights are eligible for the promotion.
- Points, vouchers, and points + cash are not eligible.
- Only stays after the registration for the promotion will be considered.
- Stays at Homes & Villas by Marriott International, Marriott Executive Apartments, and Marriott Vacation Club owner-occupied weeks are not eligible for Bonus Points or bonus Elite Night Credits for this promotion.
- Only one room per property is counted toward a member’s nights for the promotion.
Conclusion
This is a good global promotion. There is no need to optimize the number of nights per stay plus elite night credit is very useful.
Would suggest registering for the promotion right away.
In case you are not able to register (it happens), just shoot an email to Marriott Support and they will most likely manually enroll you for the promotion. This happened to me during the last global promotion. No idea what was wrong.
