IHG is offering a discount of 15% on award bookings at IHG hotels worldwide. Being able to book a hotel for 15% less points can significantly increase the value of your IHG reward points.

This offer, however, is generally available only to IHG Platinum members, IHG Diamond members, InterContinental Ambassadors, and IHG Credit Card holders.

If you plan to use Points + Cash, you will get a discount of 15% on points, as well as the cash portion. With IHG’s Points + Cash, you basically buy the remaining points and then book your stay. In this case, you are essentially purchasing 15% less points.

This offer is available for bookings until April 27th, 2024, for stays until 10th June 2024. Note that the dates are based on the hotel’s time zone as identified on the participating hotel’s booking page at the time of booking.

Points booking, typically, are refundable up to 2 days before arrival. It won’t be a bad idea to book your stay for 15% less points, even if your plans are not confirmed yet. Make sure to check the cancellation policy before booking.

If you hold an IHG Credit Card, you won’t be able to combine the 4th night free benefit with this offer.
