Global promotions, bonus points offers, and instant elite status are always the most exciting ones. Yet, there’s another excellent promotion by IHG that often slips our mind.

I’m referring to the partnership IHG has with Visa and MasterCard. While these offers may not be as flashy, they can lead to significant savings in certain situations.

Over the years, IHG has collaborated with several credit card companies to provide exclusive discounts and promotions for their cardholders.

And there is a good reason why we end up forgetting about it.

It’s easy to overlook these special rates since they only appear when you visit the promotion page specific to your card brand. They won’t surface during your regular search, even if you’re using a card that qualifies for an additional discount.

Typically, these rates can be combined with most IHG bonus points offers.

Now let’s take a look at the current IHG promotions with Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

IHG offer for Visa cardholders.

Visa cardholders get 20% off the Best Flexible Rate at participating IHG properties in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Maldives, Laos, Japan, Micronesia, Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific Islands.

Get 15% off the flexible rate. Stay booked with this offer are flexible, and can be cancelled, or modified as per the individual hotel policies.
