Marriott has unveiled a new global promotion for stays at Marriott Bonvoy hotels and resorts worldwide.
With this promotion, you can earn 2000 bonus points when you stay 2 or more nights at a participating Marriott property. Plus, an extra 2000 bonus points for each stay of 2 or more nights at MGM Collection hotels.
Marriott Bonvoy co-branded cardholders can earn an additional 2000 points per stay. More on this later.
This is not a kind of promotion you would want to change your travel plans for. However, if you are anyway staying at a Marriott property, there is no harm in registering for the promotion and claiming a few extra points. If you can combine it with any other Marriott promotion, even better.

You must register for the offer by November 12th, 2024, for stays from September 10 until November 26, 2024. Note that only the stays completed post registration for the offer will be eligible for the promotion.
Additional 2000 points for Marriott co-branded card holders.
Earning 2,000 bonus points for a stay of 2 nights is not very appealing, especially for a global promotion.
However, if you have a Marriott co-branded card, the promotion becomes more enticing. As a Marriott Credit Card holder, you can earn an additional 2,000 bonus points for stays of 2 nights or more.

To register for the credit card promotion, you must be the primary account holder and have an active Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card that was issued prior to August 16, 2024, in Canada, China, India, Japan, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, United Kingdom, United States, United Arab Emirates, or Qatar.
Good to know.
- Award redemption stays (Cash + Points, Free Night Awards) do not qualify.
- Stays booked through most third-party online retailers and select travel agency rates do not qualify.
- Paid stays at Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy do qualify.
- Stays at BVLGARI, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Marriott Executive Apartments®, and owner-occupied weeks at various vacation clubs do not qualify.
- Only one room per property per eligible paid stay counts toward the promotion. If you have to book more than one room, you know what you need to do.
