Grand Opening offers are common with hotels for new or renovated properties. The latest one by Marriott is for their Renaissance New York Harlem Hotel.

Marriott Bonvoy members staying at this property can earn 5000 bonus points per night. Note that the bonus points are per night and not per stay.

I find ‘per stay’ offers to be very unfair for people with longer stays at the property. Offers with bonus points ‘per night’, on the other hand, reward short term and well as long-term guests equally.

Just a word of caution. This property seems to be getting some not-so-good reviews. Do your research before booking. Some of them could be just teething problems that may improve gradually.
