The offer is available at select participating Marriott hotels worldwide. Marriott’s promotion states that out of 7000+ hotels where you can redeem points, some 4500 are participating in this promotion.
The promotion is applicable on stays booked between October 6, 2022, and October 13, 2022, for stays from October 6, 2022, until October 31, 2022.

15% seems like not much. However, for a longer stay, it may be a substantial saving.
Marriott already offers 5th night free on redemption stays. 15% extra discount on top of that can reduce the points needed for a stay by a lot.
Conclusion
Marriott is offering 15% off on award bookings. Combined with 5th night free on redemption, this can be a nice little vacation for much lesser points.
The booking and redemption window is quite small, though.
