IHG has announced a price increase for its InterContinental Membership, effective October 2nd, 2024.
IHG hasn’t announced the new price yet. However, as per an internal memo leak, the new price will be USD 225 or 45,000 IHG One Rewards points.
If IHG sticks to this price, the increase is not significant. Currently, you can buy an InterContinental Membership for USD 200 or for 40,000 IHG One Rewards points.
Purchasing or renewing your membership before this date can help you save some change. Note that timely renewal also gets you a bonus of 15,000 points when renewed with cash (not with points).
Despite the price hike, the InterContinental Ambassador program remains valuable for its extensive benefits.
