Starting January 1, 2023, until February 8, 2023, you can earn 3000 bonus points for every 2 nights stayed at participating IHG hotels worldwide. This offer can be used up to 3 times, i.e., for a maximum of 9000 bonus points for 6 nights.

You need to first register for the promotion if you are eligible.

The offer has been sent to plenty of people, but it still seems targeted, as several members cannot register as yet. If you haven’t received the invite in your email yet, I recommend waiting for a few days.

Once registered, the promotion should show as “Stay 2 Nights. Earn 3K Points. Repeat.” in your account.

For the purposes of this offer, a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay is defined as a minimum one-night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local equivalent) per night. Participating hotels include all participating IHG ® Hotels & Resorts, Mr. & Mrs. Smith properties, and participating Six Senses properties (as identified on each hotel’s booking page), and each qualifying night must be completed during the offer period. Stays booked using Reward Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for the purposes of this offer.

Conclusion

You can earn up to 9000 bonus points for 6 nights spent at IHG hotels. At 1500 bonus points per night, it’s not worth changing your plans or preferred hotel. However, if you are staying at an IHG property anyway, no harm in some extra points. Remember to register right away.
