Accor just announced a promotion that promises a 5 million reward points giveaway. Sounds exciting, right? However, the name is a bit misleading. No one person has an opportunity to win 5 million points, or at least that’s what one can infer from the terms.

So, what is this promotion all about? Well, it’s actually a referral program. Accor Plus members in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam can earn 2,000 bonus points per successful referral to Accor Plus. And this pool is supposed to be of 5 million points.

To qualify for the Reward points, you need to refer one or more friends between Wednesday, June 7th and Friday, July 28th (AEST 11:59 pm). You will receive 2,000 ALL reward points for every referred friend who successfully joins Accor Plus as a new member before Friday, July 28th (AEST 11:59pm).

Given the excellent benefits Accor Plus comes with, it shouldn’t be that difficult to refer people.

All referrals must either be submitted via the online form on the dedicated promotion landing page on the Accor Plus website or through an Accor Plus Consultant or Member Services team member before Friday, July 28th (AEST 11:59 pm). There is no limit on the number of successful referrals an Accor Plus member can make.
